you didn't read my sentence all the way through:

"There were definitely a bunch of movies I didn't see that I assume would have made the Top 20. Persepolis, Juno..."

Persepolis has still not opened in Chicago. Annoying. We think it's out this coming weekend though.

Landmark's site says it is. I'm waiting to see it to finalize my own film list.

That Even As We Speak singles comp was the answer to a prayer I never said aloud! And, thanks to you, that Jason Anderson record is way on the tops of my list too. xo

That Julie Doiron record rules so hard. It was a real nice surprise for sure. Also when I saw her play in Minneapolis with Calvin Johnson she was so cute and endearing.

St. Vincent wouldn't be on my list. I'm seeing her again in a couple weeks.

Your top-2 records are definitely jostling for the top slots on my list. Good picks, sugar.

the only reason that marry me is even on my list is because of how magical seeing her open for jv was. seriously, it was so awesome that i somehow block out how mediocre the album is compared to how awesome that show was.

openning for who? JV? (tries to pull apart the initials)

Ah! John Vanderslice. Killer. I saw her at Bumbershoot, and she'll be playing with a recent fave, Foreign Born, at a tiny bar in Santa Barbar in a couple weeks. I am stoked.
