RADIOHEAD - IN RAINBOWS

is perfect.

the second my alarm went off i hopped out of bed and downloaded it and put it onto my ipod. i just couldn't wait until lunchtime, which was my plan. i walked down division and pressed play, grabbed a copy of the red eye which adam sebastian told me had a quote from me about yelp (the one that i gave to the wall street journal reporter). she kind of misquoted me out of context but oh well. on the L, i kept looking at everyone listening to music and wondering if they were listening to it. i linked eyes with one guy who seemed like he was feeling it, but i wasn't quite sure. in typical leigh listening to radiohead for the first time fashion, i teared up at half the songs. hearing 'nude' aka big ideas (don't get any) finally put on a record; oh my stars.

if you want to read the wall street journal article where i'm quoted, it's here: http://online.wsj.com/public/article/SB119162341176250617-CaeHzB8Amqw9nAhRPwcdTI4QOJI_20071104.html?mod=tff_main_tff_top

Current Location: work
Current Mood: goosebumps
Current Music: well, of course i'd love to be listening to it again, but lunch is in < 3 hours.

i'm so excited about the new radiohead. I haven't listened to it yet, I haven't been home all morning and I don't want to download it to my work's computer. Can't. Wait! to get home!

I remember when I first saw the track listing online and saw nude I yelled out 'BIG IDEAS' and Z kinda looked at me funny so I had to explain.

haven't read the whole article, but.... that quote seems to fit nicely with her opening thesis. which means: of course she twisted it / took it out of context-- she was looking for someone who said what she was going for.
