tonight i ran into brian #1 at the piebald/glassjaw/juliana theory show @ the 9:30 club. he was wearing an *awful* hat! argh! i got there just as piebald were going on and they were great! their new material is quite sound! their new album is not *as* good as 'if it weren't for...', but it is fun. they are fun. i didn't even mind being there by myself. after they were done, i went outside to strategize. velocity girl wasn't starting until 11:00pm, so i had time to kill and i debated staying for some of the juliana theory. glassjaw was absolutely godawful and the exact thing i was *not* in the mood for tonight. so i stayed outside and talked to jeannie through the ticket booth. she is super cool and we talked all the way through glassjaw's set and through a juliana theory song or two.

on my drive home, somewhere on 14th street i realized there was a convertible next to me with [i think] two boys who looked like they were probably at the show. it seemed as though they were motioning me to race them. it was crazy. i drove my usual speed [really fast] and around the washington blvd. exit off 395, they slowed down and both looked over at me and kind of waved and then sped off. i didn't recognize them at all - it was completely random. then again my life usually is.
jeremiah was just online and we spoke briefly and it seems like he's pulling things together school-wise. i'm glad for him. but i'm still sad for me. colin firth and rupert everett showing up at my house and singing 'lady come down' might help tho. or i could just loop this song in winamp.
