I've just started to give that Wolf Parade a second try, and I like it lots. I think you'll dig it!

You know what I love? The Jason Anderson mailing list. He's adorable!

i've said it before and i will undoubtedly say it again: jason anderson will save indie rock even if it doesn't want to be saved. he is the best dude that i know. he is always telling me how he feels his albums just don't hold a candle to his live show and, while that's true, his albums are just spectacular. i mean, seriously, no one has words like his out there today. my fave jason memory is coming back to my apartment after a boring day at work to jason and nikole watching MY SO-CALLED LIFE, so i sunk into the couch and watched an episode with them. oh my, such amazing times. everyone keeps asking me why i want to fly to boston for new year's just for 1.5 days. i just want to start out 2006 with a bang and jason just makes my heart explode with joy.

I guess I need to catch up on Jason Anderson's post Wolf Colonel catalog already. I be missing out.

Also, I haven't gotten around to listening to Wolf Colonel's LP (I have the EP) yet and I'm strangely fine with that.

D'oh, too many WOLF bands!
Um, I actually didn't get around to buying the WOLF PARADE yet. No rush now, since my top-20 for this year is pretty much cemented.
