it's ironic that the $ i am paying for this ticket is most likely going towards paying for the road construction that has left myself and other residents of the 1700 block of Augusta with no place to park, which caused this ticket.

i wrote the above note on a post-it and stuck it to the check i wrote to the city. technically, it was dan who parked my car, but it simply SUCKS for me and my neighbors that the city has put up "NO PARKING" signs everywhere down Augusta between work hours and then they only do a piddly amount of work on the street daily. i mean, for real. it took the sidewalk outside of our house at least 2 works to be completed, though i believe i am underestimating. ridiculous!

i finally crafted my first contribution to the sampler! they are really cool and i am so excited to show them off, but i have to go home and finish slicing them apart. i did some stuff for the packaging on my lunch break. MAN, i am so psyched! :)
