Indulge yourself in the health and beauty benefits of chocolate at
Chicago's greatest celebration of this "food of the gods!" Taste free
samples from more than a dozen chocolate companies, see Chicago's only fruiting chocolate trees and the fresh cocoa beans that satisfy like few things can. Fun for the whole family will include chocolate-mint plantings, leaf-print card making, storytelling, and a "candy evolution" activity. Lectures will include "exotic nutrition and the magic of chocolate" by renowned raw foods author David Wolfe, "bean to bar" on the history and making of chocolate by the festival creator Dr. Thomas Antonio and more. Demonstrations will include cocoa butter soap making, chocolate leaf making and more chocolaty fun than you can imagine.
ps. this also reminds me to say that i am super happy it is cadbury creme egg season again! there is no candy in the world that i love more. i'm trying to be good though!
