Blackwell estimates there were 175,000; Democrats say 250,000. Pick your number.

people on kerry's campaign team came up with 155,000. and i really wish i could still access the article from the columbus, ohio dispatch that said that (it was free earlier, now for some reason i have to pay to read it! whatever.)

anyhow, kerry did the honorable thing. the last thing this country needs is to go through a prolonged legal battle over votes. let's just count the votes that we can so we can get a completely accurate number... either way you slice it, bush will still have the most human (read: non-electoral college..and yes, i know they're humans, too :) votes.

of course, if by some unbeknownst miracle the numbers DO add up after all is said and done, well..thankfully just because kerry conceded to the president and the nation, it doesn't mean he can't still be president. a concession of an election is not the be all and end all of that election.
