aquatic, the life

a man after my own heart...R.I.P. Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.

"If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: 'The only proof he needed for the existence of God was music.'"

it's people like kurt vonnegut, jr. that made my formative years easier. i read breakfast of champions a number of times and it became one of my favorite books. also read: player piano, slaughterhouse five, cat's cradle, and mother night. i thought that i read an autobiography about him in high school, but all i could find was Palm Sunday: An Autobiographical Collage and the title didn't ring a bell. anyways, he had quite a life. may he rest in piece.

i'm finally reading the devil in the white city and i am in love with my city even more than i was before. after i'm done with it though, methinks i'll read a couple vonnegut novels i missed.
