Its not only radiohead, i've checked a bunch of the bands on that list.
I still think its some kind of cruel april fools joke thats dying hard.

well, i know polyphonic spree announced it since i got an email the other day confirming that they were playing it. i just think radiohead is doing pre-sales for their diehard fans maybe? i dunno. they've done stuff like that before in the past.

Sign me up. This will probably be easier than getting tickets to the actual Radiohead tour.

it's funny how radiohead, for all their posturing, still charge $65 for a concert ticket. and their new cd isn't _that_ good. go figure.

FDF!

honestly, i see this festival as a bargain. think about how many bands are playing. you're paying LESS than $10 to each of these bands. a lot of these bands are coming from europe. the space itself has to be staffed. it's probably going to take awhile for them to set up this space as well as clean up after the event is over. to just see radiohead these days is about $30, but add on 10 other great bands that usually play club shows for somewhere around $10-$15, you'll see that it's really a bargain. plus, we don't really ever get festivals this good in the US. it's honestly as if they were transporting a day at glastonbury over here.

re: hail to the thief. you're definitely in the minority with yr opinion thinking it's not that good and that's fine for you, but i think it's peachy keen.

You have to...you have to go!!

You don't know me but I stumbled upon your page when I was looking for info on this festival. For the past 4 summers I have been traveling from New York out to England to go to the Reading Festival over the 3-day August Bank Holiday weekend so I know the true festival experience and so you really need to go and do the whole camping thing too! The campsite experience are the most memorable parts of all my festivals. The only thing that sucks about festivals in the US though, is that you can't bring in cases of beer and whatever you want to eat like you can in Europe. And you can't have campfires next to your tents.

But its amazing..this years Reading Festival lineup actually sucks in comparison to Field Day, so its great timing! So I dont have to spend all the extra dough!

Feel free to keep in touch...my e-mail is risekevin@earthlink.net and I'm in NYC.

at the time i think it was just one of the only sites with detailed information. i think it's kind of sucky, since i checked the "don't allow search engines to search for my site" on my lj. :/ wierd.

and now...

and now it IS too good to be true. no camping, giants stadium (with the worst acoustics ever)...

i kind of wish i hadn't gone through the w.a.s.t.e. website, seeing as i'm struggling right now to get my full refund. because i can't see spending $80 on sitting in giants stadium. with not all the bands i was planning on seeing.
